See Your Heart in Motion
What is an ECHO?
Echocardiography uses ultrasound waves as a diagnostic tool to study the structure and the motion of the heart in real-time. It acts like a live video, allowing doctors to see how your heart pumps blood and how your valves function.
It is a non-invasive procedure that does not cause the patient any discomfort. There is no radiation involved, making it completely safe for all patients.
At Seth Sevana, these critical studies are performed by highly skilled doctors and/or certified technicians using state-of-the-art imaging equipment.
Assessing the heart's ability to pump blood (Ejection Fraction).
Checking for leakage or blockage in the heart valves.
Identifying holes in the heart or thickening of the walls.
We prioritize your comfort during the examination.
No needles or incisions. A gel is applied to the chest, and a transducer is moved across the skin.
The procedure typically takes 20-30 minutes, and preliminary results are often discussed immediately.
Ultrasound is extremely safe and is the same technology used for pregnancy scans.
